This series of switches from Planet provide a high performance switch architecture capable of providing the non-blocking switch fabric and wire-speed throughput as high as 3.2Gbps. Uplink directly by any straight or crossover cable to the backbone switch, the FNSW-1601 provides the connectivity to back plane yet segment the network traffic of the department to your backbone. With an intelligent address recognition algorithm, they recognize up to 8K different MAC addresses. These wthernet switches feature Store-and-Forward mode with wire-speed filtering and forwarding rates.
