The passive CWDM filter has a compact module type is widely used in fiber optic networks and is compatible with single mode fiber optic networking. This filter has a compact module with a demultiplexer module function, used in metro transport, regional distribution, and outside plant (OSP) applications. This CWDM passive filter has a 1620 nm maximum wavelength with 1 dB channel insertion loss and 45 dB return loss.
The PCWND-04355-1943 is available with a compact demultiplexer module starting at channel 1551nm wavelength. This passive filter has a 20 nm spacing with 900um diameter fiber lead, which is 1 meter long. Our CWDM passive filter is available in 0.5 dB passband ripple with a maximum power handling capacity of 300 mW. It has an express port designed for adding more wavelengths to the existing network. This channel filter is used by connecting the common (or line) port from another multiplexer utilizing different wavelengths.
