This new adapter allows the user to fit a standard keystone opening on a plate or enclosure with a Mini DisplayPort interface. A standard keystone opening is too small to hold a standard DisplayPort interface, but this new adapter allows the smaller Mini DisplayPort to be installed. This particular adapter converts the Mini DisplayPort signal to a standard DisplayPort interface on the back side of the plate.
