      Q: What is a Reverse Polarity Connector?


      A: A Reverse Polarity Connector alters a standard connector by utilizing a male pin center conductor in a female housing or a female pin in a male housing. This prevents mating with a standard non-polarized connector.


      Q: What is the difference between Low Loss 400 and LMR 400?


      A: The only difference between Low Loss 400 and LMR400 is the manufacturer.  Both cables are made out of the same materials and have the same loss characteristics.


      Q: What is the difference between Low Loss 400 and Low Loss 400 UltraFlex?


      A: Low Loss 400 and Low Loss 400 UltraFlex have two main differences.  The first difference is the jacket.  Low Loss 400 uses a Polyethylene (PE) jacket. Low Loss 400 UltraFlex uses a more flexible Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE). Both cables are rated for indoor and outdoor applications. The second difference is the center conductor.  Low Loss 400 uses a solid bare copper covered aluminum (BCCAI) center conductor. The Low Loss 400 UltraFlex uses a more flexible stranded bare cooper (BC) center conductor. Both cables have similar loss characteristics.
