The Planet 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet Switch is now available at ShowMeCables! These plug and play switches can directly connect to department Switches or backbone servers. With up to 10Gbps of non-blocking switch fabric, they can be used to build a Gigabit high-bandwidth switched network quickly and easily. All RJ45 ports support 10/100/1000Mbps for optimal speed using Cat5, Cat5e or Cat6 cables.
These network switches incorporate Hibernation Link Down power saving to automatically lower power for a given port when it is not linked. It also uses an intelligent algorithm that actively determines the appropriate power level based on ethernet cable length. All these factors end up leading to a 40% power savings. Metal housing for durability.
