Loopback Fiber Testers - FC, LC, SC, MPO, MTJR Connectors
ShowMeCables offers a variety of fiber optic loopback plugs with FC, LC, MTRJ, MPO, and SC connector types. Our loopback testers are available for single-mode (OS1) or multimode (OM1 and OM2) connections. These fiber optic loopback cables are available in LC-LC, SC-SC, and FC-FC configurations with 9/125, 62.5/125, or 50/125 microns, providing an economical solution for numerous fiber optic test applications. We use corning and cladding optical fiber with ceramic connectors for our single-mode and multimode duplex fiber cable loopbacks. The UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) polish used in these connectors from ShowMeCables offers a better surface finish with reduced back reflection. It includes a locking mechanism that ensures solid connections, as well as a yellow or orange riser-rated PVC zip cord jacket. Our loopback plugs are tested individually and use a sizable yet manageable fiber loop to avoid bend loss.
The loopback testers from ShowMeCables have an attenuation level of up to 20 dB, allowing direct (looping back) connection between the transmitter and receiver ports without requiring an additional fiber cable or inline attenuators. These attenuated fiber loopback plugs make it simple and quick to evaluate the functionality and provisioning of fiber optic network links. Our MPO loopback cables are 12-channel MPO connectors without alignment pins and are ideal in QSFP applications. Fiber optic loopback plugs are suitable for R&D, fiber labs, telecom and FTTX, testing, telecom and Datacom port provisioning, and troubleshooting applications.
