Belden 8240 type RG58 is mainly for use in Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), but can also be used for low-power signals, RF connections, Ham radio, and Thinnet 10Base2 applications. This cable is rated for outdoor/aerial applications. This cable features a CMX rated PVC jacket. Internally this cable is protected from RFI and EMI interference by a 95% tinned copper braid shield. The center conductor is made from 20 AWG solid copper. RG58 is commonly terminated with a BNC, N, TNC, or UHF connector.
