Middle Atlantic 3.25 Inch D-Ring - Wall or Rackmount

If masses of tangled cables seem to be taking over your data center or IT closet, don’t despair. ShowMeCables has you covered. We’ve been in the cable business since 1995 and we know a few things about cable management.

But before you browse our 150+ cable management solutions, you might read on to see our summary of those products. We’ve broken everything into 10 simple categories, with links so you can go straight to whatever type of product you’re looking for.

So, let’s get ready to get organized . . .

Wire Mesh Cable Trays and Accessories

Wire mesh cable trays look so simple but they do so much. They route and protect network cable, communications wiring, and electrical wire throughout offices and many other types of commercial and industrial buildings. The rugged but light cable trays are mounted on walls, ceilings or under raised floors to provide an orderly path of connectivity for hundreds and even thousands of cables.

Wire mesh cable trays help you solve a lot of challenges. They allow you to get your cables off the floor to free up room space for other uses. They organize your cable flow to make them easier to find. They protect your cables without enclosing them, which reduces heat buildup. And in most cases they are easy to install and to customize for however your room is configured.

ShowMeCables offers 10-foot lengths of wire-mesh cable trays in 20 sizes – with nine width options from 2 inches to 24 inches and depth options of 2, 4, or 6 inches. We also have all the mounting brackets and couplers you’ll need to install the cable trays.

Lace Bars and Strips

Lacing bars – strain relief for cables where they enter a rack, to prevent bending. Our nearly three-dozen options include solid round lacer bars, lacing bars with slots to secure cables with ties, and a patch panel cable management bar to mount on the back of 110 type patch panels for rear cable support. The biggest difference among these bars is the six choices (from 0 to 10 inches) you have for how far they extend from the rack.

Lacing strips – mount vertically or horizontally to a rack rail and attach bunches of cables to it with Velcro straps or zip ties to organize cable routing.

D-Rings

Our single D-rings mount to a rack to neatly gather cables and direct them away from the front of the rack so you can see the front panels of your components. These D-rings also can be mounted to a wall to direct cables vertically or horizontally throughout a room. The advantage of a D-ring over a zip tie or Velcro strip is that it makes it easier to find and move one cable within a bundle.

Cable Grommets

A grommet is placed over a round hole in an enclosure to protect cables from the sharp edge of the hole as they pass through. ShowMeCables offers them in three sizes as well as a roll of grommet material that can be cut to fit a hole of any size.

Cable Spools

An empty cable spool is a great way to keep excess lengths of cable from taking over a room. It mounts to a rack for use in spooling the excess cable – and unspooling it as more length is needed.

Neat-Patch Cable Management Bays

The patented Neat-Patch bays let you neatly stow excess patch panel cable into a 6-inch-deep space without having to use cable ties. This system makes it easy to identify and track cables.

Wall-Mounted Cable Claws

One of the best ways to keep your unused patch cables close at hand and in a small space is with a cable claw. It holds dozens of cables neatly, within view for quick retrieval, and under no strain.

Cable Ducts

Cable ducts mount vertically to one or both rack rails and neatly conceal cables as they direct them away from the front of the rack and up or down. Feed-through holes along the entire length of the back side of the duct lets cables enter and exit at any point. We offer them from 8U to 45U.

Vertical Cable Managers

Vertical cable managers essentially do the same job as cable ducts, directing wires up and down the front or rear of a rack, but they have a more open design.

Horizontal Cable Managers

We carry more than two dozen products in this category, and they all function to support and direct cables away from equipment racks. There is a wide selection of D-ring panels, a horizontal cable tray, hinged cable managers that both conceal cables from view and provide strain relief, and many types of horizontal panels with finger-shaped openings and variations in depth capacity and ways to access the inside of the panel.

Our cable management solutions are in stock and available with same-day shipping. In-stock products ordered before 5 p.m. ET ship the same day. Flat-rate UPS ground shipping is only $8.99.
