Are you looking for a quick and easy DIY installation or repair for your coax cable? Our Clamp Style BNC Female Bulkhead connectors for RG6 will provide a simple solution for your wiring needs. For this installation you will need: A coax stripper, coax cable, a soldering iron, two wrenches, and the bulkhead connector. Keep in mind, you will want to make sure that your coax stripper, crimp tool, and BNC connector match the coax cable that you are installing. Using your cable stripper, strip back the outer jacket and dielectric. The advantage of using a cable stripper is that it will strip back the jacket and dielectric at the same time. Start by inserting the screw bolt over the outer jacket of the cable. Then, insert the center piece and grommets over the jacket as well. Pull back the braided shield and fold it over the grommet and center piece. You may need to strip the jacket back a bit further to make sure it can be folded over. Insert the center pin onto the center conductor and apply solder to make contact. Insert the connector housing and begin assembling the center piece and screw bolt. Hand tighten as much as you can and then finish tightening by using the wrench. Congratulations, you have successfully installed the BNC Female Bulkhead connector.
