Outdoor Rated Cat5e patch cables are manufactured with high quality UV (Ultra Violet) resistant PVC cable. With an Operating Temperature range of -40C to +60C (-40F to +140F), this cable handles a wide range of weather conditions, most importantly, the degrading effects of Ultra Violet rays. Booted connectors provide a secure connection every time. Cables meet EIA/TIA 568-B.2, and are UL verified to Category 5e.

Outdoor Patch Cables - This type of cable is for direct burial and outside applications.
Plenum Patch Cables - Plenum is the air-handling space found above drop-ceiling tiles or in raised floors. Plenum is a fire-code rating for indoor cable. These cables are approved by Underwriters Laboratories for installation without the need for conduit because the insulation and jacket compounds used have low flame-spread and low smoke characteristics.
Shielded Patch Cables - These are useful for environments where a close proximity to power cables, RF equipment, or high power equipment may introduce crosstalk, and can also be used where interference with radio receivers or where eavesdropping should be minimized.
